Lots going on this month!!!
First of all, Dave has become a full-time member of Yada Yada Yada (or Y3, as they're also known) taking over for the awesome Todd Sterner upon his departure from the band. The band features Dave's former Poptart Monkeys cohort, Paul Reddon, on lead vocals. As well as former members of Psycho Bettie, Metropolis, Fallacy, Johnson's Pants, etc. Tha band's style is mainly in a hard rock vein...80's Hair Bands, Modern Rock...just good, fun, danceable, rock music with a sound that's like a fist to the chest! Secondly, Dave has been working with another "Grow Or Pay" alumni vocalist, Leighann Burke, supporting her on guitar for some of her acoustic shows. The pair recently played the "Women Who Rock-IV" Benefit Concert ,at the River Street Jazz Cafe in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to an awesome crowd! The event benefits the Domestic Violence Service Center in Wilkes-Barre. (Click the image below for more info on this great cause.) Lastly, Dave is also beginning work this month on some original material with songwriter, Joe Lutz. Joe has written songs featured on several Poptart Monkeys albums as well as "The Land of Oohs and Ahs" by Rise Phoenix Rise. He has decided to put his own solo project out, which Dave will be collaborating with him on.
